This is a great location, near enough to the Hbf, but a little tricky because you need to walk around the huge cathedral and down some stairs. The area is a pedestrian walking area, but you can drive almost to the front door.
The staff were phenomenal! I was in Cologne doing some business and they gave me a conference room to work in, which was very helpful. Generally, it's a very welcoming place.
Breakfast is also a good deal and goes until 11, which is important if you flew in from North America recently 😀 That extra hour of sleep is critical!
Exceptional hotel imho.

BEAUTIFUL and amazing bedding - top quality - NO AMERICAN AIR CONDITIONER - cannot change the temp of the air except for a few degrees up or down - had a large window which could be opened all the way - but even when cold outside could not keep room cool inside. Shower, bedding and room size all perfect - very high quality! Enjoyed the breakfast!!! Worth it!! Close to everything - walk everywhere …

We arrived early and the person at the desk was able to give us a great room overlooking the square. We liked everything about this hotel and highly recommend it.

Hotel is in a square and be prepared for the area to be noisy and busy. Having said that the room on the top floor was nice and clean, Relatively small bathroom.
Good breakast options.

Would not stay here again because the temperature control did not really do anything and it was too hot in the room the whole trip. Bed and bedding was good. Nice view of the cathedral. Shower was good. Staff was average. Should have paid the city tax in cash. The front desk employee said I could pay it with credit card but them I was charged as a cash advance on my credit card with an additional fee without realizing that is what she was doing. Wifi was ok but would drop out and was slow some of the time.
