Rooms are unusually small, parking needs to be pre-booked. The advertisement did not say that.

Hello and thank you for your stay. You have booked a "small double room", our smaller and cheaper rooms, but we offer larger (Standard) and much larger (Premium) rooms. We have a limited number of place, so pre-booking is important.

The room was tiny. The bed almost completely filled the room and was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in, almost as hard as a bare floor. The bathroom was laid out in such a way that the toilet was right up against the shower making it difficult to sit on the toilet because my knees hit the shower door. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The location is convenient. If they have larger rooms, take them because the economy room is not comfortable at all.

Just outside old town and easily to walk the 5 mins into the busy old town. Great staff and fantastic facilities. Highly recommended. Good value.

Great stay… it is very close to the old town of colmar … just 7 minutes away from the petit Venice bridge. However if you are planning to park at the hotel, you need to make reservation with the hotel in advance.

Room was bit disappointing. No curtains, just thin blinds, so room bright after sunrise. I had ordered the standard room,not the budget room, but it was still quite small

Need better blinds! Lights shine through
Posted 5 Feb 2024 on HotelsThe hotel is close in to the city center of Colmar. It's a nice remodeled property with a nice breakfast and a great sitting area near the bar. However, the blinds in my room were terrible and lights from the street on the 3rd floor, were very annoying, especially when they reflected in the mirrors in the room. My room was #304. You need to improve the blinds, or add curtains. I had a very terrible nights sleep. Everything else was quite nice at the property.

Our rooms on the third floor are all equipped with roller shutters in addition to the sunshade installed in the room. I loved that it was so near La Petite Venice and the Marché Couvert. The Museums are a bit further away, but still walkable. The only problem was getting any kind of taxi service, which is not the hotel’s fault. The taxis won’t take passengers for what they consider to be “short” distances (meaning not as large fares as they would like). For older travelers or those with limited mobility, this is a real problem. The hotel itself was quite lovely with a very nice breakfast. The room I had was a bit smaller than expected, but very well appointed and modern, with a comfortable bed. I had a pleasant stay here.
