A perfect location to get away from it all - Jim the owner is super nice and very helpful with any questions your have. Lots of cool walks to do in the area

Posted 17 Apr 2021 on HotelsWe arrived via a bumpy dirt road during a thunderstorm. It was a room up steep stairs with 4 beds and a table. You had to go outside and down steep stairs to the bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen was disgusting. The toilet didn’t flush. You had to turn the water on and off. We stayed 20 minutes. The bed was covered in either flying ants or termites. Disgusting.

Hi Ellen,
Sorry i cant do anything about the bumpy dirt road, or the thunderstorm. You are first person to call my kitchen disgusting ,just because the colors don't match .The toilet did flush. Every year when the first rains come you get a termite bloom ,if you keep the door shut they stay outside ,this is the jungle. You did not stay or pay any money so you should not be allowed make a review. Next time stay in a 5 star hotel, and stay out of the jungle, and pay the price.

We stayed a weekend and loved the cozy rustic tropical paradise. With an ambient atmosphere and just a breeze away from the ocean, you can relax and enguldge in the authentic jungle tranquility. Everyone working on the property added charismatic Friendship to a unforgettably magical weekend.

Almost impossible to call this a property. TERRIBLE. Basically paid for a shed with a bed. Dirty. Dirty. Dirty. Slept in clothes. Did not use shower - toilet only if desperate. Honestly, just gross.
Description of locale incredibly deceiving. As an example, the workout room was a rusty stationary bike from the 70’s.
The next day couldn’t come soon enough!

Jim and Emma were very accommodating. Upon departure, Jim called in the howler monkeys to say goodbye and nearly 30 came by to perch in the trees above the Bungalow... very cool.

Great A-frame cabins right next to the beach, with a hammock and a picnic table right on the edge of the beach. Very relaxing, with a couple of sweet, friendly dogs there. The manager, Emma, is planting lots of flowers and fruit trees, and can give you a quick tour of all of them. There's also a small pool, and you can rent bicycles or kayaks. I definitely recommend it!
