I open the door to get inside and fly/insect flying inside the room. Don’t forget to close the door as soon as you can and bathroom not clean enough

If budget is your chief concern in picking lodging on this desolate stretch of I-5, this is great place. A clean, safe, quiet no-frills room with TV, internet, ice, free morning coffee, microwave ovens (in a common area) and a laundry room. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The immediate area is unattractive but not unsafe and next to the freeway. Walk to Dennys or drive 3 minutes to fast food, 5 minutes to Harris Ranch Resort. Grounds are not well kept. Well, $60/night....

$61 bucks for a clean room, hot shower, cold a/c. Laugh at the clowns paying $150 for the Best Western next door. Sure there's no breakfast/shampoo, etc. But there's a truck stop, Denny's, Carl's Jr., Micky D's and other stuff around. If you need a place to crash before running the I-5 gauntlet down toward LA then this place can't be beat.

I had a very helpful front desk person help me out . My first room had a wonderfully comfortable bed and beautifully upgraded bathroom, but the a/c wasnt cooling. She immediately found me a better room with wonderfully cool a/c , nice enough, Dennys a short strool-and I didn't see the Subway Sandwich shop at the Valera Gas Station till we were leaving. We meant to get a place in Coalinga, but this turned out okay, friendly people.

Very basic motel. Room was clean enough, except no one had swept under the beds in awhile. Little amenities (the basic price didn't include a refrigerator). We had minor issues getting a room that was ready. The A/C barely worked and was not cool enough for the 90-degree weather. Teenaged neighbors were partying loudly into the night, but quieted down when we asked. Outside, the air is filled with the smell of cow dung that's along the I-5.

No working AC , no towels in the room . Room had window screen bent , allowing over 20 flies to enter room and stay on wall , had to kill flies and leave window closed with no room ventilation, will be asking for full refund . Very disappointed and just fell asleep

I stayed Thursday through Monday booking one day at a time so I have got these reviews daily. For majority of my stay the staff was amazing up until Sunday. The older white woman that worked the reception Monday while I checked out at 1140 was just clueless about customer service. Hotel is mostly bare of residents so I was one of the few there. At check out nobody else was there and I asked her for some ice that was next door. I knew my key had been disabled even though I had a noon late check out and she handed it to me and I said, I don’t think this would work”, she just shrugged so I thought maybe she gave me a key she knew would open the vending area. It’s right by reception area and there was no guests or any reason for her not to help me. I tried it didn’t work and I gave it back to her and she just said sorry and continued sitting on her chair just starring straight ahead into nothing. So I just left, all I asked for was some ice for my water, it was warm and a long drive back to Fresno. Things like this might make me want to stay elsewhere on my Return to the area. It’s just a small thing and I feel everyone else I have met working there in that area and the housekeepers would have gotten up opened the place up and let me get some ice in my cup. It was a disappointing end to my stay.
