Makes motel 6 look good!
Posted 28 Dec 2023 on HotelsNot my type of room. The bed is too soft. The door needs a better lock. Not for old folks. The location was good for me to walk to McD. The manager would hep you any way he could. It's just an older motel. the price of 76 was ok for me.
They don't take any money upfront because it might not be for the average traveler.

Simple room. Just stayed for a short night while roadtripping up CA. So met my needs of a comfy bed. Lots of noise from traffic outside on the street.
Friendly reception staff, made sure everything was to my liking

To call this place a Roach Motel would be insulting to Roaches...Ugh. At the price I was not expecting 4 star accomodations...but I do expect basic and clean. I slept in my clothes, as I did not want to pull the bed cover over me. I could not wait to leave...hoping no bed bugs followed me. I would have more comfortable sleeping in my car....

Thank you for your response. The room that was assigned to you is the same one that is advertised on our listing page. We take pride in making sure the room is clean and comfortable. This is a budget motel and has the necessary accommodation for a restful stay. The roaches you are referring to are in fact crickets that were outside the building and throughout the town. This occasionally happens due to excessive heat. This is an ongoing issue that is being addressed. There are NO bed bugs at this motel and NO roaches as we spray and clean with strong cleaning supplies. As per the review you have written, the management here disagrees and will be happy to provide details photos of the room in which you stayed along with a refund.

Dishonest , I did not even get to check in at all . I made reservations for A 2 bed room and was told they didn’t have my reservations and said he had one bed and wanted me to pay they same price. Avoid Booking at Laura Lodge
