The lady that helped us complained I used Expedia and took me over 15 minutes to check in. I wasn't happy with what she said because I use Expedia many times.

First I had a booked through Expedia here, expecting to pay when I get to the hotel, someone from the hotel called and HOUNDED, me for my method of payment. Why have the option to pay at the hotel, when that wasn’t the case, on top of that, the card I gave wasn’t the card I wanted to pay with, she charged the card full price before I even got to the hotel and even explained to her, you can have it on file, but this isn’t the one I’d like to pay with. Not a good experience before we even got there. Now check in was fine. I just was very disappointed in my room, compared to other Americans this hotel wasn’t as nice as others, not updated, old features, small tv, and the bed was horrendous, was not a comfortable stay. Also, the surrounding area doesn’t have a lot of choice for DoorDash or any thing like that, so be prepared to buy a lot of snacks. We won’t be staying here again, way too expensive for the quality. I’d rather drive from Duluth and spend the same amount of money. I stayed here 5-6 years ago for a funeral, and it was a very nice hotel, I guess standards haven’t been held.

Charged up but left chargerless

The room had a damp smell to it. Everything worked fine. Left behind a phone charger and called a day later and it was no where to be found. Had to buy new one. Not happy about that but apparently someone needed it more than me.
