Staying in a castle was a memorable experience. Clontarf had a good mix of history and modern convenience. The beds were comfortable, the included breakfast was great, and the staff was friendly. Location is not very walkable to downtown Dublin, but a short taxi ride will get you there for around 20 euro. Overall, great stay.

We absolutely loved staying in this historic castle. I mean it’s not everyday an American gets to stay in a real castle in Ireland!!!

Expensive place to stay over £300 for a night , no mini bar provided , room service very poor both the quality and range available , the breakfast room had large comfortable chairs but no room to get between tables to the point you felt awkward going anywhere , all in all this did not feel like good value for money

Nice property in regards to overall appearance. Check in was very good. However bar service very inattentive along with restaurant service for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was out of plates and when I notified staff no response for over 15 min. Also no milk out for cereal. Overall disappointing for price paid.
