Quaint cozy quiet place to spend a restful night and Louis the miniature dachshund was definitely a bonus.

The manager-Robb was very helpful. Always answered any messages I sent, before arriving. After arriving he was very accommodating. Room was very clean, warm and comfortable. Loved the beautiful bedspreads.

Nomad is Perfect!

I love the Nomad. I've been staying here, once or twice a year, for decades. It is quaint (1950's tile bathrooms!), clean, and quiet.

Older motel but please do not shy away it’s clean ,comfy beds , pillows ! We really liked how they kept the pink retro tiles in the bathroom .

Drove 10 hours to make our reservation. Arrived to be told we would have to pay $20 each for 2 babies (a 1 year old and one less than a year). Then was told "actually thats too many people for our rooms" and were refused service with no refund (I had to complain to expedia and do a charge back on my credit card). Had to drive an extra half hour to check in at the best value desert inn in cache creek (well worth the drive).

Good day Aaron, I’m sorry that I couldn’t accommodate you and the other five people you had in your party. If you would have been honest when you booked your room I would have than contacted you and we could have made other arrangements. We were full that night so we didn’t have another room to put the extra guests in. As for the refund we are the ones that authorized it not Expedia. In the future I suggest you be honest about how many people you have in your party when you book rooms so this kind of situation doesn’t happen to other accommodation owners.

Our room was spotless and we did not hear any traffic noise despite being on the Hwy. We appreciated all the little touches like a small bbq and picnic table in the parking lot, and puzzles and games in our room. Clinton is a really charming little town and this was a great place to stay.

This is a litle gem which has worked perfectly for us needing a one night stay in Clinton. The room is spacious , with comfortable beds, clean, and has a microwave, fridge and coffeemaker. The owners were very welcoming. Though close to the highway, it is quiet and we had a good sleep.we highly recommend The Nomad Motel.Thank you!
