I booked for an overnight stay due to A power outage. My room that was assigned had A broken shower. The water wouldn’t even come on at all. The lady behind the front desk moved me immediately to another room once I advised her which was great. However there was A dirty rag in the tub with red stuff all on it which appeared to be maybe hair dye. I chose not to even say anything about it as I was tired and me and my family just wanted to shower and get to bed. Breakfast was terrible the eggs were not edible and we were not able to get waffles due to A large group of kids literally A woman was making waffles for 45 minutes for almost 20 kids. Other than that no complaints. Staff was great that I interacted with.

The property is in a good location in Solon the front desk staff was very nice. …and that’s about all it has going for it. This hotel was dirty bordering on filthy. We were given dirty sheets for the hideaway bed. There was a clump of long black hair in the tub. The chairs had crusty stuff all over them. Not once did we see any housekeeping staff. There were cookie or cracker crumbs in the hallway when we arrived. Three days later, those same crumbs were still in the doorway. We ended up checking out two days early to find somewhere else to stay because of the lack of cleanliness. We wouldn’t stay in a Homewood Suites again.

Was great during the week while business travelers were occupying the property. When the weekend came it was loud, crazy, and hate to say it the demographic changed to a more raucous and urban crowd. Two thumbs up to the night desk girls Briana, and Veronica in the day- she was fantastic. Maid cleaned the room one day.

The hotel is very run down with minimal modern upgrades. Upon checking in, my first initial room had dirty floors, tables, a huge stain on the kitchen seat, dingy bed sheets and pillow cases, and lastly the shower had mold buildup around the soap holders and faucet. I requested a room change via the front desk and they were able to thankfully accommodate me to another room. My second room looked much cleaner and updated. Which makes me think, why provide that type of room to any customer in the first place with such major areas in need of immediate renovations. I travel 2-3 weeks per month for work and have stayed at every hotel imaginable. This was definitely a bad experience and I will sadly not be booking this location on any of my future work trips to the Ohio area.
