The room was comfortable and the bed was amazing. I really liked the themed aspect of the entire hotel. It felt like I was staying at a friend's house as a guest.

This hotel could be cool but was a bit sad. Wouldn’t stay again. Very empty hotel with very small rooms

This was, unfortunately, my most disappointing hotel experience in recent memory. It felt less like a hotel and more like a couple of rooms situated above a restaurant. The quirky B&B style, with rooms named after composers, aimed to create a music-themed ambiance in an old house. However, the rooms appeared dated, lacked cleanliness, and the bed had a musty funky odor that made it challenging to fall asleep. Considering these issues, the price point seems rather high for the overall experience. One notable inconvenience was their strict policy of charging a $50 fee for late check-ins after 11 pm, regardless of the reason. While I understand it's their policy, arriving at 11:16 pm due to a flight delay felt unjustified. I do want to highlight the kindness of the staff despite this policy. On a positive note, the hotel's proximity to the Cincinnati Music Hall could be a significant advantage for music enthusiasts. If this location is vital to your plans, the convenience might outweigh the drawbacks. However, for a more comfortable and modern stay, I'd recommend exploring other options within the nearby area.

We understand the 50 late check in was a problem for you. We staff the hotel check in from 3 to 11. Our innkeepers have a life out side of work and we need to treat all guests the same. The guest that would checks in 10 minutes later that you should be charge? We feel that 11 is reasonable time and it was not the innkeepers fault that your airline was delayed. We have not heard from any past guest that there was a musty smell in any room. We did check the room you stayed in and could not smell musty. The bed (matress) you stayed in was replaced recently. We do not feel 159. in a historic renovated building located in Over the Rhine, full of antiques is a high price. Although arriving late did add to the costs. We hope you enjoy more modern stays in your future as that is not what we offer. Sorry you did not enjoy your stay.

We felt really pressured to have a check-in time. We were trying to take our time and do what we wanted to do and check in when we wanted to, but she kept asking us when we were going to check in. We were in the area and would be there about 20 minutes early and she wanted to charge us $25 for an early check. Even though the website didn’t say there was a charge for parking they tried to charge us for parking when we got there. I told them to look at the welcome email they sent, and there was nothing about charging us for parking. We said we weren’t going to pay for parking, but they charged us anyway we had to have a heated conversation with the owner to get that charge taken off The room we stayed in had a window that was frosted, but the lights were on outside the window and the room was light all night long There were a lot of noises coming from inside the hotel during the night She wanted to charge us a $25 parking fee and that was never mentioned in our welcome package or on the website We were a bit disappointed

We are a 9 room hotel. Nine rooms do not support a 24 hour front desk. It is clear that check in time begins at 3 and ends at 11. Our website and confirmation email are both very clear and explain all charges, check in time and check out times. No hotel downtown has FREE parking and 25. secure parking is much less than other large hotels. We also provide complimentary sleep masks. There was no heated conversation that I had with a guest, as the owner, and we are not sure of the noises you experienced. Sorry you were disappointed with our operational systems. We suggest a larger chain hotel would fit your needs better that our small 9 room hotel.

Our historic hotel has 9 one of a kind rooms, furnished with antiques. Our Innkeeper reaches out to all guest to get an idea on an arrival time. If a guest is unsure then the guest is asked to text the innkeeper when they are ready to arrive so the innkeeper can be there waiting for the guest at arrival time so the guest will not have to wait for the innkeeper.Kathy at first did not respond to the text. Once contact was successful, she did not like our check in system. Our hotel is staffed from 3 to 11pm for check in. Outside these times there are extra charges for check in to be staffed. SYMPHONY HOTEL SITE Parking is 25. per car and is clearly stated on the website. Upon making the online reservation, there is an option to add parking for 25.00. There is also an option to add breakfast for a fee.EXPEDIA SITE STATESParking and transportation24-hour offsite parking (USD 26.95 per night), Onsite parking options include a garageFood and drinkDaily continental breakfast available 9:00 AM–11:00 AM for a fee: USD 18.33–26.95 per personKathy felt free to be rude, belittle the inkeeper and used profanity in dealing with the innkeeper. "I'm not paying for _ucking parking". The innkeeper was extremely nice to the couple throughout the check in process.Kathy thought that she would pay 114 including; an overnight stay, parking, and breakfast for 2. Additionally, the hotel pays a 15% commission to pay to Expedia for the reservation.

Absolutely fantastic in every way! Check in was super simple. The parking garage is right around the corner and easy to access. This property is walking distance to tons of great places. We found a beer garden with a German restaurant that was 10/10. The rooms have everything you could need. Super cute. Super clean. We stayed in the Copland room. Absolutely stunning. Wonderful Wednesday away from home. I would stay here again and again.
