Belle casa, récemment rénovée, grande chambre. Elle est bien située dans une rue tranquille mais à proximité des centres d'intérêts.
Maide et Jonnys sont très accueillants. On y mange très bien. Les déjeuners sont très copieux et Jonnys nous préparent de bons soupers variés et meilleurs que dans bien des restaurants.
Ce fût une belle découverte.
N'hésitez pas à réserver cette casa.

The hosts Maida and her husband Jonny were warm friendly and welcoming. The place is all updated and the room was immaculately clean. The breakfast was delicious and when we go back to Cuba we plan to stay there.

A comfortable stay in beautiful Cienfuegos
Posted 23 Feb 2024 on HotelsNice, clean and comfortable rooms in a house with a nice rooftop deck. Located a short walk from downtown and the beautiful Cienfuegos waterfront where you'll see lots of old French architecture as I'm told this is the only city in Cuba that was built by the French, not the Spanish. Our hosts Meida and Johnny were very nice. The food was quite good. This was one of the better casas we stayed while traveling Cuba. Meida speaks english and between her and Johnny they were able to answer all our curiosities about the city, region and Cuba generally. If my next trip to Cuba takes me back to Cienfuegos - and it probably will - theirs be the first casa I look for an availability. A great addition on the way to or from popular Trinidad since most Viazul bus travel routes you through this beautiful city.

A very plush place!
Posted 30 Sep 2023 on HotelsI had a very short stay as a stopover between buses. The location was key for me and only 10 minutes walk to the bus station. My hosts were very friendly and helpful. The house is really stunning and a shame I only had a few hours to experience it. Cienfuegos seems like a great place and worth spending more time here

Not pleasant
Posted 2 Jul 2023 on HotelsWe were expecting to experience local hospitality but what we experienced was exploitation. The hosts seemed to push for any sort of extra service which they could charge extra for or take commission for. The room was decent in size but the sheets had holes or were yellowish. We asked for the towels to be changed as they were stained. But towels with the same stains kept making a reappearance! Toilet had an ugly smell. The only positive was the breakfast but even the water you asked with it was charged extra. The services they provided (eg daily tours) were not worth it as they were with very very old taxis that just couldn't go up small hills (we had to get off the taxi for it to restart). Overall we were happy to leave and not return again.

We are very sorry to read your opinion. But you definitely has the wrong house. His comment does not correspond to our hostel.We work very hard so that the clients who visit us leave home happy. We do not pressure our clients, on the contrary, we provide any possible help. The extra services we provide are optional at the request of the visitor. The sheets, towels and other bedding are not yellowed or have holes, on the contrary they are new. This is corroborated by all the previous comments.We regret your bad experience, but your comment does not match the services provided in our hostel.

We really enjoyed out stay here! The house was delightfully clean and quiet and our hosts were very attentive to our needs. The food was really good too! I would highly recommend this Casa as a place to stay, 10 out of 10!

Excellent home.. away from home. Extremely well kept and clean. Hosts were like family with a great attitude and paid extreme attention to all that can make one comfortable. I highly recommend.

Very nice colonial style casa. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating with everything we needed. Very good breakfast!
