Nice hotel close to heaps of great restaurants!

Posted 13 Jul 2017 on Wotif
Pros: Friendly helpful service and close to a variety of good food.
Cons: The beds were very firm, more like a concrete slab ha but that is just a general thing you will find anywhere and everywhere in Korea.
Location: Every night we ate at a different place and each experience was better than the last. About 5 mins taxy from the city center and 20mins walk from lake
Friendly staff who really looked after us even though we spoke no Korean and they spoke not a lot of english. Really looked after us and helped us out with taxi's and finding places to eat. Comfortable rooms with lots of amenities. Heaps of amazing food experiences within 5 minutes of walking distance across the river. Half way between the lake with scenic views and walking tracks and the main city centre. The lake is walking distance and the town is a short and cheap taxi ride away. Over all had a great stay.

Ok for a 2.5-star hotel, but hard to find.

I travelled with my wife and folks. Our taxi drivers had difficulty locating the hotel, even though we had showed them the local name and address of the hotel. The non-smoking rooms we checked into had a faint smell of cigarettes, which was not great in terms of first impressions. But overall, we found that the rooms were clean and comfortable. My wife was quite happy with the in-room computer as she was able to use it to watch K-dramas online.

Decent, clean hotel

Posted 31 Oct 2016 on Hotels
Comfortable hotel. When we checked in they were fixing the water so we didn't have water for a few hours, but they were very apologetic. There seemed to be some sort of construction either in the building or in the next building causing noise from 8am - 6pm. At night we could hear the water in other rooms and talking. But the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Nice Hotel for Couples

Posted 7 Jun 2016 on Hotels
Stayed in a special double room. The good: Spacious, very clean, seemed recently updated. The room had a desktop computer plus a big-screen TV on the wall. There were infinity mirrors next to the bed, and a large mirror over the bed. It included a wide range of toiletries (including face masks), robes, and free water/soda in the fridge. The main room had a two-person tub, plus there was a shower in the bathroom. Staff went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. A few minor bothers: A/C turns off when you leave, and it can take a little while to cool down when you return. Sometimes I had to tap the room's light switches a few times for them to work. The fridge is a bit small for restaurant leftovers. Overall, though, this was a wonderful stay! Highly recommended!

A horrible experience

Posted 1 Jun 2016 on CheapTickets
Pros: Nothing. It just terrify my wife.
Cons: Never visit Korea again!
When my wife checked in alone on 27 May, the front counter guy asked my wife a lot of odd questions and looked my wife like a wolf. eg are you check in alone? Let's have a dinner and drink togather. Of course, my wife did not say "OKAY" to the strange guy. After, my wife got the key and put the luggage to the reserved room and closed the door. Someone beat the door in many times and try to open it. It scare my wife and have to return key and check out immediately. However, the counter guy did not let my wife leave until my korean firend gave him a call. It is an horrible experience!!!!!!!!!!!!

Small motel/hotel that has all that is essential for travel. Pics look slightly better than the actual room.
