Stayed with my family and it did not look like the pictures, the room was not clean, couch was dirty, there was a horrible smell I’m room and outside there was shady people walking around, I didnt feel safe at all.

Pool was closed, no breakfast was provided. Property gave a last minute notification of items not being provided.Couch was dirty

Online websites (Including Expedia) were updated to have the breakfast and pool amenities temporarily closed/not shown (indefinitely), a few months ago. All clients are informed/reminded about this update while checking in. If you ever encounter any issues while staying at a hotel, please reach out to the front desk staff and let them know. The room is really nice inside. The kitchen was a good size, but the oven burners take awhile to heat up. I was able to cook a full meal still. The kitchen does not come with any utensils or pots and pans. I was glad that I called beforehand to get that information. The room itself is very big and spacious. The room was clean for the most part with a few stains on the furniture here and there overall, I would stay again the staff made me feel very comfortable, and they were very accommodating to my requests.

This was, THE BEST HOTEL IN CHULA VISTA that I ever stayed at, and I've stayed at many. Their staff is very welcoming, the rooms are so clean and beautifully set up. You really get the most out of your money staying here, I mean it's a studio with a kitchen . It really is your home away from home. If anyone is curious about staying here, DO IT. YOULL END UP EXTENDEDING I PROMISE 😉

We got to the location and had cops surround the back parking lot for a "stolen registered vehicle" and for a homeless round-up, which was not separated from the rooms. The rooms were so musty and gross so we asked for a room change. The front desk staff was nice when we checked in initially but switched up when we requested the room change. He showed us the new room, and when we asked for some time to discuss it, he told us that we should just cancel the reservation and look for another hotel because it would take too much time. When we agreed to cancel the reservations, he constantly said, "You guys have to get out of here, I have more reservations on the way".

Hello Sarah. We are sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience at our property. For more details on the Rental Truck in question, we were informed that the client failed to return the vehicle on time and its renewal was way overdue. This resulted in the rental company reporting it as stolen...which is why the CVPD were involved and just doing their job to maintain law and order. We're not sure why you are mentioning homeless round-ups happening since the Police were there only for that one vehicle. Our rooms are newly renovated so we aren't sure what's wrong with the rooms you initially received other than the clerk mentioning that everyone in your group had "special" (not going into detail to retain privacy) requirements that our rooms didn't meet, which is why you had to discuss whether to stay or not. We apologise on behalf of the front desk clerk who was assisting you, we will definitely have a discussion with him about the way he could have handled the situation better. At the very least, thank you for taking the time to bring your concerns to our attention.

Hello Larimar P. We are at a loss as to what you are unhappy with. You only brought one issue to our attention which we addressed in a timely manner. We would like to recommend reaching out to the front desk staff if there's anything at all bothering you at anytime while staying at any hotel so the staff has an opportunity to improve your level of comfort. At the very least, please specify what issues you experienced when writing a review so the hotel management will know what needs to be done to make things better.
