When we checked in we weren’t told that the rooms we were given had accessible bathrooms which is not what we booked. So we had to go back to receptions and get allocated a new room. I was grateful to get one room upgraded but it would have been better if staff shared what they were allocating upfront. Changing rooms wasn’t convenient. If you want to be out at night, this hotel is located a bit further away from the riverside restaurants and we were told that it wasn’t safe to walk back at night.

Room was really well appointed, extremely clean and updated. The bed was also excellent. Property was within walking distance of many restaurants and bars and shops, and the steakhouse on property was fantastic.

The hotel is very well located in a peaceful residential neighborhood across a nice park and close to the town center where the activities happen. At check in we made a request to remain in the same room for our 2 night stay ( we booked one night and the tour company had booked the other with a slightly upgrade) and they say sure and assigned us to a room but as we were touring town the next day I got a call to come back to empty our room. Luckily for them we were not yet that far and we came back to comply. For all this inconvenience we got upon request for it, two vouchers for a house beer or wine ($8 each) which were not accepted readily at the restaurant even when we had spend a lot on the meal and not a very pleasant server. Other then that it was an ok stay.
