This is an excellent place to stay. Very clean with friendly staff. My room was clean and comfortable. Loved being across the road from the Botanical Gardens.

The hotel was great. The front desk staff were so very helpful and courteous. It was also a great location for pick ups for several tours. The room was clean and the shared bathrooms were always very clean. The only down side, which I know you can't help, is that there is construction going on around the hotel. Otherwise I had a good experience.

Affordable, clean, comfortable with good facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Only down side was the noise. Doors shutting through the night, and if you get a room next to a toilet, you'll hear more than you want to. Though if you ask the staff will give you earplugs. I needed those for the snorer in the next room. Still it was worth it. I spent 3 nights here and will use it again if visiting Christchurch. Very handy to the City and Hagley park across the road.

The location of this Hotel was close to where we needed to catch the bus over to Westport.
