My family stayed in Golden Hotel for 7 nights. Really nice place to call home away from home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The suite we stayed in is clean and well-equipped. The staff are quick in responding to our request, always greeting us with smiles. The Cafe serves delicious food of very high standard. Hotel is within walking distance to eateries, banks and shopping mall. Public buses from hotel front are convenient for those who are not driving.

Great little place for a short stay. Parking may be an issue but staff do their best to fit everyone in. It is a Chinese-run hotel so many similar clientele. Most rooms facing the main road but we didn’t have any issues as only stayed one night.

A little gem of a hotel which it's excellent value for money. Modern, clean, stylish and comfortable. Definitely the best place I've stayed in, while in NZ.
