Hotel was great staff very friendly really lovely people rooms a bit dated could do with beter clean

Thank you for your time to review our hotel. Our hotel's main building is fully renovated. Also, our 2 bedrooms are fully renovated. You have booked the standard studio. It is our cheapest room and we haven't fully renovated them yet.

Posted 23 Apr 2023 on HotelsPobyt w hotelu uważam za udany, cena adekwatna do standardu, jedynie można mieć zastrzeżenia do monotematycznych i słabych śniadań, ale widok z miejsca ich konsumowania rekompesował ten minus.. czystość pokoi utrzymywana na 5+.
Posiadanie auta pomaga w przemieszczaniu się i nie traceniu czasu na jazdę komunikacją miejską, która mimo tego, że przystanek jest przed hotelem to restauracje warte uwagi są niestety nie na miejscu..

4th visit to Helios bay and it was as good as it always is. I would not stay anywhere else when in the area.

Comfortable and clean with beautiful views
Posted 3 Dec 2021 on HotelsThe Helios Hotel was a hidden gem. The value of the off season pricing is wonderful. The apartment was very clean and had a great view from the balcony. It’s a $15 Euro taxi into Kato Paphos or just $1.50 Euros taking the bus directly across the street. The so close for a few months during the “off season” as do some of the surrounding businesses within walking distance. The food at the pool bar was surprisingly really good! The owner was very nice and friendly. My only complaints are that the pool is not heated so even though the weather was lively it was still too cold to swim in. Also I asked the front desk to tell the housekeepers not to disturb as there is no do not disturb signs to hang on the door and it was either not communicated or the maids didn’t care, as I work remotely it was pretty annoying to have them come ringing the bell 2 times daily, and just open the door while I was still sleeping after a late night. It would be great if they made the actual rooms nonsmoking but the smell wasn’t too strong. Even though there was a phone it was not plugged in or working lol. There was an oven but I couldn’t figure out how/if it worked, and couldn’t call the front desk on account of the phone situation lol.

Our staff according to the vast majority of our clients are friendly and helpful. Helios bay hotel is located between the two central places in Paphos. Coral Bay and Paphos harbour. There is a bus stop just outside our hotel and buses run every 10-15 minutes. Access in both places is very easy. The Ticket is euro 1.5 each way and taxi is euro 10.

5 day stay late November
Posted 2 Dec 2021 on HotelsReally enjoyed our stay. Our last day was the end of season so bar was only open a few hours each day. Lovely to eat outside at breakfast & lunch. Great views. Ate out at the pub down the road & the Indian opposite. Both recommended. Room was spacious.
