Great Breakfast, excellent service, Very clean, towels and bath ropes are very comfortable, and were provided!

Good room and breakfast. Dinner was more limited but adequate. The park across the street was very nice and family friendly. Taxi to the airport was punctual. The ride took 15 minutes and cost 91 Lei - about $5.

Posted 27 May 2018 on HotelsAwesome service and wonderful food. The room and furniture were dated--but I had reserved the cheapest selection. The rest of the hotel was modern and the staff, service, and food were amazing.

Long weekend hotel
Posted 17 Apr 2018Hotel Jumbo was a great hotel/location for a long weekend in Chisinau. Close to multiple great restaurants and a park; walking distance to the center.
We had half pension booked but breakfast would have been sufficient; dinner half pension menu okay but with no option of selecting the wine I want/too much options close by to limit our nice Moldova experience.

The hotel was a little far from the area I expected to be you can't just walk to the main street but you have to use transportation also there was a couple of things I told the reception about the TV issue and the shower was leaking water from the side wall and there was no shampoo in the dispenser so I wasn't too happy about that visit unfortunately so I won't be booking that hotel anymore

Not a 4 star hotel
Posted 6 Jun 2017Said it was a 4 star hotel so we expected much better. This was more along a 2 star in the US. One of the gentlemen at the front desk was never helpful at all and generally seemed put out by any request. The fridge in the room didn't work and there are no ice machines so we had to go to the bar if they were open to get ice so we could have cold drinks (apparently not a thing over there). Pretty disappointed overall. Room was ok at least it was pretty clean but a bit shabby. AC didn't work very well (again not a thing over there).
