Beautiful setting. There was never anyone at the desk. Deer smell in the bathroom. Dirty coffee cups in the room.

The property is old but the room was clean. The hall ways were disgusting and stairs were filthy. The front desk to check in had bullet proof glass with a small slot under to hand things. I did not feel safe at this location.

The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our room (202) did not have a smoke detector and the interior door guard was missing on our room door.

This property was in complete disrepair. The outside was dirty, the stucco was falling off, and you could clearly see where the top and bottom floor met due to large cracks. The front lobby was tiny, disorganized and filthy. I asked to see our room prior to checking in and was denied and told we'd be happy. After checking in, we went up to our second-floor room. Several of the doors to the rooms had large gaps around them including our room. Our room had the security lock busted clear off and there were keyhole accesses from outside the room. The air conditioner had fallen partially out of the wall and you could see clear through to the outside. We said we did not feel safe staying there and were refused a refund on our two-night stay. They told me to contact expedia, which i did, and was told there is nothing they could do as we were beyond the cancellation time. I was offered a $25 coupon by expedia. Totally unacceptable.

Staff was friendly on the phone, and in person. Room was quiet, clean and decor appeared newer. Parking was very convenient. The only downside was the $100.00 deposit required to stay there. Also, either the wall soap dispenser was almost empty, or it was just not easy to use. Tried the shower dispenser, had the same luck. Sorry, not a fan of the wall dispensers!

The gentleman who checked me in was very friendly. When I got to the room, the TV was not working/not receiving a cable signal. When I moved the night stand out to access the power outlet, there were candy wrappers behind it. The bottom inch or so of the refrigerator was rusty. The chair at the desk was quite dirty and all the furniture was beat up. The bathroom was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. It was very quiet. I did not hear other guests. I had to leave early in the morning, so I did not get to try the breakfast. Overall, it wasn't terrible for the price I paid.
