We loved our stay, located a lovely 5 minute walk across the picturesque bridge from Chinon and it’s castle, this family owned and operated B&B was just what our family (2 adults, 2 children) needed. Clean room, excellent breakfast and very helpful hosts. Parking is quite easy even if it seems unlikely at first.

A good base to explore Chinon
Posted 6 Jul 2018 on Hotels A really nice simple hotel. Clean and comfortable and only a few minutes walk across the river to the centre of Chinon. Good WiFi and charming proprietors.

Bathroom was very small. Breakfast was quite expensive.

A lovely hotel in a lovely town
Posted 8 Jun 2015 on HotelsWe had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at St Jacques in Chinon, France. The lady who runs the hotel was very friendly and helpful and she spoke English. We had a very good breakfast each morning. The hotel was in a good location in the town - just a 5 minute walk to a good choice of restaurants. Chinon is lovely and a good place to stay.
