"A stunning property. From the high ceilings, beautiful woodwork and antiques to the rooftop pool. A small and intimate hotel with lovely staff. Tucked down a small roadway, it's right in the heart of the action and secluded at the same time. Great location! When arriving by ferry, it isn't very far to walk on the map, however, the traffic and crowded sidewalks would make the wheelie bag treck very hard in the heat. We decided on a taxi. Taxi driver told us it's a standard 20 for any trip. There is a free bus you can take from the ferry (CAT bus) which does a loop of the city and stops at stop 7, one short block from the hotel. "It was an absolute privilege to stay at Muntri Mews for 3 nights. The room we were appointed was stunning (77D) with a four poster bed (very comfortable) and a lovely large, squishy sofa that was perfect to relax on. We were one skip away jump away from the cafe which served us a delicious breakfast from the menu each morning, which included a glass of fresh orange juice and hot drink of your choice. The scrambled eggs with smoked salmon were perfect. The staff were very kind and welcoming throughout. The commonunal living room is absolutely stunning, full of antiques and is like a museum. In the afternoons, they serve afternoon tea there, which is a nice treat. The location is perfect and it's right in the heart of the heritage zone. George town is a very walkable place, and the hotel is central to everything you'd want to see. A truly unforgettable stay. "
