Great place for sleep and shower, no frills
Posted 22 Sep 2023 on HotelsThe room smelled fresh and linens were clean. It is obviously an older (probably at least 30 years) motel and had some cosmetic changes due to its age and outdoor room entrances. Staff very nice and I thought it was a good deal for $75. It is however, next to the freeway and with the normal aging process and being an outdoor entrance, the rooms are obviously not sound proof. The AC was quiet and efficient. Again, very nice place for bed and shower, no frills.

Surprisingly comfortable
Posted 9 Sep 2023 on HotelsFor a cheap motel outside Chicago it was amazingly comfortable. Even though it was right off the highway it was quiet. The bed was comfortable and water pressure was great. The restaurant/ bar next door was friendly with good food.

Horrible experience. Staff is so rude. Go somewhere that the staff treats you kindly. Don’t give your money to these people that’s all they care about.

I understand your frustration with this property but we had no confirmation from Expedia to cancel your reservation. We hold your room until next day 11 am. We could sell that room to someone else but we were holding that room as we supposed to. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Super clean
Posted 20 Jun 2023 on HotelsTravel nurse after 3 weeks of bad hotels I found this one. The bed is comfortable, 4 pillows! Room is super clean. We’re very happy her and will continue to stay here 3 days a week until the contract is over. Thanks for the comfortable, affordable room

Property lied&still charged me after cancelliing!!
Posted 11 Jun 2023 on HotelsAfter bring discriminated against, I found Starway Inn and paid ahead of time! This property was filthy snd scary looking, so I let them know I was cancelling before the deadline at 4 p.m. & they still charged me for the property! I would really like my money back, please!

I also talk to expedia and they told me reservation was never cancelled so we hold your room until next morning. charge was done next day morning. you came to hotel and said it was paid for. we are setup as hotel collect. none of our reservation is paid ahead.

This a great budget freindly hotel. The staff is nice and room was clean. All facilities worked, what else can you expect for the price? Sure it's an old property and won't win any beauty pageants, but it checked all the boxes for what I needed.
