The room was very spacious. We had our own separate bathroom; it was close by, easy to access, and clean. It's a nice neighborhood. Rachel and Chris only recently took over managing this property and when I texted Rachel with a couple of minor issues she was very responsive. The candy in the lobby and the availability of cereal and coffee are nice touches. There is a loud bar next door. The noise didn't bother us too much but if that is a concern I suggest to ask for a room that is not directly on the street side.

Everyone was helpful from the outset. I appreciated being able to drop off our luggage when we arrived early, as the staff were still getting our room ready. We ate at a few restaurants in the area and the Belmont L station was a few steps away, which was very convenient.

Hosts Rachel and Chris went out of their way to make visit as enjoyable as possible. Virginia was very informative and hospitable also. Would definitely go back for another visit!

Everything was winderful and i really enjoy my stay at Old Chicago Inn. The rooms are cute, everything is very secure, and staff is super friends and accommodating. I look forward to booking again with you soon!

The staff was very nice and the location was an easy walking distance to Wrigley Field. Parking was much easier than I expected. I liked the charm of this older building and the history behind it. I only wish the bed in room 1C was firmer. But all things considered, it was a great stay.

The Old Chicago Inn was perfect for my partner and I. We wanted to stay in and near a few particular points of interest to us and this checked all the boxes. Wonderful staff that never hesitated to handle our out of towner issues. Not a traditional hotel many bedrooms do not have an in bedroom restroom which can be intimidating or embraced. Shared common areas that were truly shared and enabled me to meet a few other vacationers. For my partner and I this is better in many aspects. Things I did not like? We stayed two nights and I would need to really pick things apart to find things I had any real issue with.

I was apprehensive about my stay going in based on an interaction I had with the old manager however what I walked into was a gorgeous B&B with the nicest people ever. Haven’t actually slept yet and there’s still check out but if it is anything like check in I’m excited to plan my next stay!

When I came into the room. The restroom had feces left in the toilet. When I called the Inn Keeper about a faulty heating unit in my room, they made it seem as though I didn’t know how to use the electric heater properly, when, in fact, the electric heater has a short in it. She even explained that other customers have complained about it too, yet they didn’t want to do anything about it. The customer service was incredibly poor.
