Overall, our stay was great. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and cozy. The only thing I would not recommend is the restaurant, the food was very average for the price.

The staff was excellent. Check in was a breeze and everyone was friendly. The room was clean. Highly recommend!

I liked the location, being in proximity to the museums and McCormick Center. The fitness center is also nice.
The interactions with staff disappointing.
- Upon checking in, one of the receptionists shared that if we weren't using the in-hotel meal discount that evening, guests could come down the next morning and get a new one for breakfast. We did that. A new receptionist told us we shouldn't do that. We felt blamed for simply doing what another staff member told us to do.
- Another receptionist had one ear bud in while interacting with guests. I asked for a basic hygiene supply, and they weren't able to supply it. It seemed like they were a bit distracted.
- The breakfast itself was disappointing. A $17 scramble was just eggs with salsa on top.
I think I will try the Hilton across the street the next time we are here.

The views and location are excellent! The only downside was hearing the traffic with the lake view. But overall, is my favorite hotel to stay at if you dont want to he directly in town
