Hotel was in a convenient location for shopping and nightlife.
Disappointed regarding lack of hotel parking requiring 10 min walk to nearest available with all luggage. No drop off/ pick up point outside hotel.
Biggest disappointment was quality of bed/mattress, very low bed, soft and lumpy - poor sleep.
All other facilities eg tea,coffe were in plentiful supply. Lovely hot, powerful shower.

Good Morning Glenn,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback concerning your recent stay at the ABode Chester.I'm very sorry you found the mattress to be low quality, I appreciate quality is very subjective, based on the amount of money the hotels spend on our mattresses, and purchasing from Industry leaders, I'm surprised to read your comments. If you are due to spend another night in Chester please do let me know and I'll arrange for you to be allocated one of your newest mattresses. Concerning parking, I'm very sorry you had issues with finding a space. For unloading, there is a large layby directly in front of the hotel, which on those occasions when the hotel's car park is full, many guests use to unload, furthermore, even when the car park is full there is the opportunity to unload in the car park and then move your car to an external car park.Kind RegardsGiles Stonehouse

We stayed for a birthday celebration, the reception staff were nice. The room was very small, the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall. Overnight stay was fine, we then went for breakfast, £18pp, not worth it. It was probably the blandest breakfast I have ever had. Service was poor and no atmosphere.

Stayed a few years ago and was amazing looking a bit tired now. Room ok, no fridge, wonky TV stand just generally tired compared to previous. Feel paid reasonable price but would have complained had I paid more. Excellent location though. Didn't use bar etc so can't comment on other facilities. Parking limited but reasonable price especially for location. Staff excellent very friendly and efficient service.
