Fab stay! The room was lovely the staff were super friendly and helpful and the food was yummy. I honestly can’t find any fault. Highly recommend ❤️

Likes
Good location, lovely room, plenty of space, quirky.
Dog friendly, although limited to the bar area re dining and breakfast
Eat in the bar 1st night food very good, good menu choices.
Some good walks from the hotel that are circular, range from 5km upwards
Dislikes
Busy wedding venue, we were there 3 nights and 2 weddings were on over 2 days, so it did feel like the restaurant area got a higher priority at breakfast re service levels, as often in the bar area (because of dog) it did take a while re service.
Buffet elements needed filling up a bit more frequently as well.
Breakfast menu had a good choice, good ingredients, well presented and quantity wise all good, the thing that let it down was 'warmth' of the food i.e. a bit luke warm, plates weren't hot, even though cooked fresh, as if it had stood for a while post being served.
Also certain younger members of staff need to learn a little more around customer service in general, and at least find a smile!

Lovely rooms but just one thing … disappointed that no drinks were available after 10:45pm because the bar closes at 11pm even though we were residents!
