The place was comfy and quiet and the spa was a nice treat. The food was a little awkward for vegetarians and the wifi didn't work through the TV to stream Netflix etc. Reception didn't know how to resolve this

Unfortunately we could not use the main dining room because there were two tour groups. Claire (?) at the front desk when she told of this conflict did not suggest the bar as an option but suggested to go into the city someplace. Later I asked if the bar was open and she said yes.

I didnt like anything. 1. Check in late for an hour. 2. Waiting area , bar/lounge dirty , tables full of used plates, glasses etc, unhygienic. 3. Over priced food and no quality, for a 8oz steak dinner £36 too much. 4. Housekeeping left all dirty towels in the bathroom. 5. Room service phone never answered. 6. On the way back home received calls from reception staff that outstanding amount to pay for breakfast, which paid at the time of check in. 7. Rude behaviour of staff on phone, sent bank details, still waiting for confirmation from the hotel the issue resolved. 8. Never stay in a Marriot hotel in life. Hope this is enough, very unpleasant stay and over hyped and stressful after left the hotel too. Nightmare !!
