Property looked amazing until taking a closer look especially the bathroom, the bath had not been cleaned properly and had hairs in it and there was mould on the ceiling. Could do with a heated mirror or better extraction as the mirror took ages to clear after showering.
The staff at the cafe were all helpful and the food was excellent.

Lovely place to stay if you are visiting Chelmsford. Staff really friendly and helpful and quick and efficient check-in.

Posted 24 Dec 2023 on HotelsStaff went above and beyond, we stayed in the Pine and it was very big, very dog friendly, clean, breakfast was delicious and we were allowed to take it away to our room, shower hot and spacious, would highly recommend and stay again!

Always consistently good here and the only place I stay when away on business. Was staying in olive apartment this time and was lovely stay. Only downside was the people staying in the same block had a dog which they left in their room while they went to the bar so was barking and scratching at the doors all night until they come back at 10.45pm Not ideal but also not the hotels fault. Rooms very clean and spacious can’t wait to stay again

I had a minor issue during my stay and it was resolved to the highest degree and standard, the customer service was exceptional.
The hotel is beautiful, I felt rested and really relaxed. The decor is stunning, bathrooms luxurious, breakfast was delicious.
I would happily stay again, and hope to in the near future.

Great hotel! Luckily just within business budget for work stays away. Excellent quality and experience.
