Delightful stay at Hotel Majestic, helpful, friendly staff that went out of their way to make our stay memorable…..Hotel Majestic will definitely be on our ‘stay again’ list.

The Hotel was very clean and the staff were very polite and helpfull, overall we had a very comfortable and pleasant experience.

The reception staff were extremely helpful. The bedroom was quite basic, it's tea and coffee supply was very sparse. It was well located in Chatelaillon Plage

Slightly dusty old hotel which we were happy to consider as "character", others might consider it to be rather tired. We were able to park our motorbike outside the front door but parking a car looked like a bit of a challenge. Location was great being just a few minutes walk to the beach front where are several restaurants.

Nice historical building, some beautiful old details, clean. The general interior moisture and humidity in the air makes for a dis-agreeable odor, but not overwhelming.

Four day stay excellent location

Pros: Mainly location,staff & service
Cons: Air conditioning in bedrooms would be helpful
Location: Chatelaillon Plage is lovely seaside resort & hotel is so within walking distance of beach & nearby attractions
Staff very helpful & spoke English which was advantageous, close to all amenities

A typical French hotel

Pros: Was I supposed to like anything? The beach was nice though.
Cons: Errr... Everything is the correct word, is it not?
Location: Go to the beach and relax :) Unless it's raining, in which case you're stuck.
When they say check-in is from 3PM, please be aware: they really *mean* it! Even if you show up at quarter to 3, they'll tell you to go away and get back after 3. Secondly, they have *no* parking, so you will be forced to park by the Tourism Ofiice (within a few hundred meters, but at your own risk). Finally, when booking on Expedia, I was actually looking for a place for 2 adults and a child 5 years old, and I was suggested to book this property as a suitable one. Well, there was a single double bed, and we had to somehow fit in it - all three of us. Frankly, another bed would not have fitted in anyway :) The breakfast is the typical French thing: 2 ridiculously overpriced croissants, so you have been warned. There are a number of places a few blocks away where you'd be served a normal breakfast for the same or lower price. The girls manning the reception were nice, with slightly-better-than-usual-in-France English, coming as a pleasant surprise.

Dear Mr Alex, I would like to thank you for your review on expedia and we would have been delighted to provide a triple room for you and the family. I guess that you would have made a booking in a standard double room in which case, it is rightly for 2 persons. Whilst I am unable to retrieve your exact booking but if you have made a reservation for a triple room and were given a double, i am certainly ready to refund your stay. As for the breakfast, we are serving a full continental buffet breakfast (hot beverages, cold beverages, selection of bread et pastries, etc....), with jambon blanc, jambon sec, boiled eggs et various cereals. Hence, we are not selling croissants per say but the access to the full buffet. Again, i would be pleased to better understand your view and experience about our buffet. I would like to appologize for the inconvenience you may have experienced and would be delighted to make it up to you on your next visit, Thank you indeed for your kind comments about our receptionist.
