Not a good experience, stay away.
We travelled with our small kid and the lady at reception declined our request to do a bit earlier checkin although we could find out that the rooms were ready at that time, she wasn't kind enough and was continuously on the phone while we waited at reception.
Room has no tea/coffee facility, dark inside and a broken chair.
Would never book this again.

Dear Mr. Amandeep, We thank you for your message. We are sorry to read your disappoitement but we cannot give you the room at 10 a.m. ! The room was really not ready as we still had the client of the night before inside. We kindly remind you that the check-in is from 3 p.m. We kindly inform you also that we offer kettle to bring in the room in order for you to make tea or coffee. We understand your excitation to receive the room early but sometime is impossible for us to give rooms before 3 p.m. The Roc and Neige team ;)

Lovely location but horrible hospitality
Posted 23 Jan 2023 on HotelsI guess the owner of this place needed to know that their staffs are really trying to ruin his business. No service, stated under booking conditions that check-in is until 8pm but the staff decided to leave early and leave all our keys in a mail box for self check-in even saw us walking in the hotel !! Then the fish bone with one of the bed frame is broken and didn’t bother to fix it ? One of my colleagues almost dropped herself on the floor ! Towels were not changed, rubbish weren’t cleaned out .. nothing stated accordingly to the conditions written in the booking conditions. How could that be ? We are talking about Switzerland not some run down places… I just cannot believe what had happened to us in the past days

Dear Mrs. Yuk, We thank you for your message and your feedback. Yes, when is low season the reception close at 18h00 but we had informed you and all your keys was acessible with a welcome letter with all explications of the hotel. You ask to have breakfast bag in the room because you leave the room before 7h00 and we had made all the breakfast bag. As we want to take care of our mother earth, we ask our guest to put the towel on the floor (if they want to be change) if the towel are not on the floor, that's mean that you do not want to have the towel changed. It was this case, our housekeeping staff was making your rooms and the towel was not on the floor. We are sorry that you are not happy with our sustainable politics. Moreover, we are completly open to the critic and the reception is always open to solve problem and find solutions but you stay 2 nights and we never see you and you had leaving without paying the city taxes. A lovely place to stay. The staff was very friendly. From the hotel it was a short walk to town and to hiking trails.

Posted 31 Jan 2022 on HotelsThe hotel has refurbished rooms but is otherwise not in the best of shape and looks very dated. The restaurant was drafty and there was only one menu. The personnel was very nice, and a one-night stay for the relatively low price acceptable. Not recommended for a longer stay.
