Cindy & her colleague greeted us warmly as we arrived. She gave us an explanation about the door codes. She made suggestions about where to go & restaurants to dine at. There's been a lot of money spent & work completed at this property. It is immaculately clean and it has been decorated beautifully but quite ornate. We stayed in the William room with an amazing king bed. All the rooms are bamed after Royal Princes. The continental breakfast was well laid out & Cindy offered to cook us some freshly scrambled eggs which we had. This location is ideal to all kinds of different restaurants and the historic downtown area of Charlottetown! You'll be glad you stayed here & we will again!

The furnishings are ornate but also comfortable. Cindy ( the property mgr) is so lovely and helpful.

Wonderful quaint rooms awaited our arrival. The lady on the desk was so polite and helpful. The parking behind the property is free. Its a very short walk to restaurants, cafes and the confederation centre.

Everything was wonderful! Very clean beautiful Boutique Hotel! Could of had softer pillows is all I would say!

My room was elegant and comfortable, breakfast was amazing, and the proprietor was so friendly and helpful. Everything was great.

Beware !!! When checking in they suddenly said they don't take credit cards, only debit. Nowhere does it say that on their website and on Expedia it says visa/Mastercard. They took our credit card to hold the booking. When I complained to Expedia upon checking out they said there was nothing they could do and that the inn was denying saying they only take debit and the inn replied that they do accept credit cards but my husband said he didn't mind using his debit when asked. This was not what happened at check in. My husband, who did not want to make a scene, explained he wanted to use his credit card because this was travel but the person checking him in, Cindy, held her ground and said they only take debit cards. He gave her his debit card. Expedia said there was nothing they could do because now we were checked out, I called back the inn and spoke to Cindy to say she should write it on the website and that I felt she lied to Expedia about the check in. She said they prefer clients to pay with debit, so I said 'so unless we make a scene you pretend you only take debit ?' She kept saying we prefer debit. The inn is beautiful but the deceit of the front desk .... we will not be returning nor recommending it. Imagine what embarrassment it would have been if he had to say he didn't have the cash ? What if this was someone couldn't pay cash ? Would a scene have to be made before she caved and let you use a credit card ? People show decorum and they get treated like this.

Cindy was marvellous at making guests feel welcome and giving advice on planning your day. She let my husband have breakfast even when he was 1/2 hr after closing time.

Prince Inn is a gem! We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights (Sep-Oct 2023). The building itself has the heritage looking, and the decoration inside makes it cozy. The Inn is in walking distance to the shore, and restaurants. The room we stayed was clean and spacious. The manager Cindy was helpful and courteous. The continental breakfast was provided, it included homemade pastry and hot egg dish, both by Cindy. I would definitely stay there if I go Charlottetown again.
