pool hours are too late (starts at 10 AM) and at that time sun is very hot and closes at 7 (too early). staff needs to be more informative for things you can do around and suggest better ways for transportation. Even when asked information received was poor and there was no pamphlet or something similar to provide information to visitors that don't know the area and visiting for the first time.

Good location but has maintenance problems. One pool was being worked on, noisy jackhammers during the day.
In the room the smell of sewer was so bad we left after two days even though we paid for three. I guess the three air fresheners should have been a clue. We were offered credit for the third night but I can't think of a reason to ever return.

Sewer smell was very unpleasant. Pillows were lumpy.

The property was rather tired & communication was limited. The room was ok but could have been cleaner & had a very noisy fridge

A little jewel in the middle of town

the roof looks like it might need maintenance..Interior was great,pool was great ,and the included breakfast was exceptional. The staff were wonderful. I would highly recommend it.

Posted 9 Feb 2024 on HotelsWonderful stay again at villas ajijic..breakfast was perfect, cooked to order...pool was nice and warm, and quiet evenings...easy walk to some good restaurants..some friends didnt have hot water for 2 days but made due...front entrance is a bit weird if you arrive after 5 pm...better know some spanish....
