My mother and arrived to the hotel and the man took us to our room up in the hill full of stairs without any luggage help my mom is around 70’s really 😣

This is a very old hotel and it’s quite a distance from town (Chapala). It’s clean, quaint and beautiful. For a quiet getaway, it’s perfect! The pool is old but functional. Staff is helpful and courteous. We stayed just the one night then moved to Chapala Plaza hotel in Chapala to be near the Malecon.

The back door to the porch doesn’t open.
The TV. Doesn’t work.
The floor not really clean.

Large rooms. Good and friendly service. Dining area needs improvement, but it does its job.

We didn't really like the property. It was a little on the junkie side and we felt like we got the gringo tax.
On the positive side it was quiet we all slept well and the water pressure was fantastic
