I think this property far exceeds the way it is described online. It is a bed and breakfast not a hotel so there isn't a front desk. The room was lovely and clean. The madame who ran the place was polite and friendly. The continental breakfast was pleasant and enjoyable - croissants, yoghurt, cheese and meat. There is free parking on the road outside and the property is right in the centre of Chalais. There are numerous little shops within metres of the property. If you go to this region, I would highly recommend staying here.

Suite familiale très agréable et fonctionnelle. literie de qualité, tout comme le linge de toilette. nuit calme, rideau occultant pour éviter la clarté au petit matin, la gérante est très attentionnée. nous reviendrons !

Le patio, avec un p'tit déjeuner copieux le matin, chambre ancienne, rustique, parquet, j'adore ! Douche à l'italienne, chambre lumineuse, et sourire et accueil de l'hôtesse, extrêmement professionnelle, etc...
