The location is great. The building is a beautiful colonial house in the main square of Chachapoyas. The staff was great and helpful. The only complain is that there was noise from other rooms.

Excellent location in Chachapoyas. Great ambiance!! Room was spacious with plenty of hot water. Wi-Fi was excellent. Staff very helpful in planning excursions. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

We arrived at the hostel super early having just gotten off a night bus. The hostel kindly allowed us to check in. However the check-in process was a bit flawed. They didn't want us to pay with a credit card as for the one night the charges for them were high. We then got shown to our room. We had just had showers when we had a knock on the door and were told that we were in the wrong room. So we packed up again went back to reception then got moved to another much nicer room. We then went to reception to see if they could help us organise a tour for that day given that it was not yet 8am. However we were told their bus was full and they didn't seem inclined to help us figure out how to do the sights independently (which by the way was easy and slot of fun using the local collectivos) They gave us a good recommendation for breakfast. The following morning after checkout we were able to leave our bags with them while we did a tour that they had organised for us.

Al llegar al hotel un poco de descoordinacion con la reserva. Al parecer también, no tenían conocimiento del precio obtenido en hoteles. Com. El hotel es una casona bonita justo al frente de la plaza de armas, muy conveniente. La habitación tenía los servicios básicos, agua caliente. En general creo que la casona necesita algo de mantenimiento. Lo que compensó todo fue el servicio, las personas encargadas muy amables.

Perfect location in the center. Very quiet. Room needs a bit of maintance work (water taps, lights didn’t work, toilet cover).
