Thank you Damien, valet and the entire team in treating us like family. You are so easy to talk to and refreshing in this day and age. I will always book first at Hyatt Hoise before anywhere else!! "This is our second stay in a month. This hotel is well located and appointed. The restaurant is great. I received a note with our Expedia VIP extras and was upgraded to a suite. I’ve had the VIP amenities at other hotels disregarded and I appreciate that this hotel actually honors them."

"Excellent value. Great location with Rainey Street and the river trails nearby. An easy scenic mile walk along the river to downtown too. I had a very pleasant room with a lake view on the quiet side of the hotel for my 3-night stay. Huge TV and well stocked room. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle was a bonus. I tried out 4 different hotels during my nearly 2 week stay in Austin and would definitely book here again for the value and location. Areas for improvement: - Maintenance issues: laundry was down due to a payment processing issue, ice machine on my floor was out, and the toilet seat appeared to be delaminating - maybe I just never figured it out, but it would be nice to be able to cast NETFLIX to that lovely big television - 5/10 pound weights in exercise room would be nice (smallest I saw was 15 pounds which is a bit heavy for a lot of women like me doing arm exercises) - suggest shades instead of curtains next renovation (Hyatt Place had a two shade system, one for black out and one for sunscreen, operated by pull chains that were so much easier/modern than 3 layers of curtains and allowed for a more expansive view)"

"The place is clean and it has the basics you need , but nothing fancy. The facilities are old but working. The location is great. Breakfast is very basic, nothing cooked, except for boiled eggs. My only complaint is the noise - even at 10:30pm there’s sirens from the police car and noisy luggage rolling across the corridor."
