"Amazing stay! Really an oasis in the jungle. We both slept very well and spent hours relaxing in the hammocks reading and listening to the jungle sounds. The room was very comfortable and the surroundings was beautiful. The perfect relaxing start to our Yucutan adventure. We really enjoyed the breakfast, the room, the swimming pool and the hosts. Hotel Marina El Cid Spa & Beach Resort All Inclusive

"We booked with Hotel Marina El Cid but when we arrived to the property we learned that the resort actually consists of three sections that are listed as separate hotels on Expedia: Marina El Cid, Ventus, and Ventus Ha' (listed from oldest to the newsest). Each hotel has a unique architecture & very distinct from others but all guests can use any facilities across all three hotels! Ventus Ha' opened Dec'24 and this is where we were given our room. It is furthest from the ocean deeper in the jungle. It is a short walk to the beach or you can call for a golf cart ride any time of the day. We were happy to be away this time around because of the algae bloom/awful smell from the ocean. Our room at Ventus Ha' was spacious, hammock on the balcony, spacious bathroom. The bed was firm so were the pillows (not a big fan of those). Room was cleaned well once a day and all towels were changed regardless the fact that we hung them and didn't mind to keep them for a few days. Each hotel has its own restaurant set but everybody could go to any of them. Reservations are necessary and concierge will make the reservations for two days ahead. We realized that Ventus Ha' had the best two restaurants (Japanese and Aakat) so we stayed close to our hotel for breakfast and lunch. We also booked those two restaurants for dinner twice. Buffets were fairly small, didn’t have much of a variety of food but definitely basic breakfast options. Staff everywhere is friendly. Overall excellent experience!"

"Place is great! Was a last minute trip and I’m not disappointed. Getting around is very easy with the help of all the carts around, I was just very surprised that the pools closed down at 6pm/1800hrs still plenty of daylight and energy to go around. "
"Oom Bubble Boutique is gorgeous and unique. Despite our late evening arrival, we received a warm welcome from Gabriella and quick tour to get our bearings. The front desk were extremely responsive to our WhatsApp messages throughout our stay. The bubbles are simple and stylish, with a tucked away toilet and both a bath and very comfortable bed in which to enjoy the night sky. We slept really well, serenaded by the jungle symphony. After a delicious breakfast, we enjoyed an amazing massage outside, under the shade of the trees, next to our private pool. After this we walked 500m to Cenotes 7 Bocas, recommended by Maritza, which was a beautiful way to end our short yet soulful stay at Oom Bubble Boutique.
