"Dreams Jade is a beautiful resort. Details matter and this resort delivered on that! The beds are so comfortable! When we arrived at our room (we did not have any upgraded package) we were greeted with a plate a chocolate covered fruits welcoming us and the same for our last night! All of the pools are heated and they are right by the beach which makes for a beautiful view. You don’t need to make reservations at the restaurants which I really loved bc most other resorts require that. They didn’t pressure us into purchasing excursions/time shares. Staff always greeted us with a smile. Room service was great- although very late once but rectified the issue. They also have a fun kids club with activities all day and a separate teen zone (just wish my kids could have enjoyed the teen zone but they are just a couple of years too young). It is a bit smaller than other resorts I’ve stayed at but that makes it so much easier to navigate the grounds, especially when you have two children and they’re hungry or you’re coming back from an excursion at night. The sargassum was present at our beach and though we were not able to get in the water, we were able to stroll the beach and enjoy the view from the pool. "

"Oom Bubble Boutique is gorgeous and unique. Despite our late evening arrival, we received a warm welcome from Gabriella and quick tour to get our bearings. The front desk were extremely responsive to our WhatsApp messages throughout our stay. The bubbles are simple and stylish, with a tucked away toilet and both a bath and very comfortable bed in which to enjoy the night sky. We slept really well, serenaded by the jungle symphony. After a delicious breakfast, we enjoyed an amazing massage outside, under the shade of the trees, next to our private pool. After this we walked 500m to Cenotes 7 Bocas, recommended by Maritza, which was a beautiful way to end our short yet soulful stay at Oom Bubble Boutique. "

"Alma Maya is one of most unique places I have ever stayed at. There is an aura of tranquility and a special atmosphere that permeates the property. My husband and I just returned from our 5 day stay, and it was amazing. The private cenote is beautiful, the domes are wonderful to stay in, with complete privacy and cloud-like beds. The food is fresh and so unique - regional recipes and ingredients are used with a real flair. Off-site trips and on-site massages were arranged for us. But it is the staff at Alma Maya that makes it so special. From the time we arrived, everyone we met went above and beyond to create a special experience for us. Jorge, Cristian, America, Paulina and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make this a memorable trip for us. We hope to return again! If you go, just be prepared for a slow bumpy 25 mins or so of dirt road into/out of the property, and factor that into all your plans. We rented a stick shift tiny car from Localiza in Cancun and it was perfect. Try to arrive during the day, and spend at least 2-3 days there. The massages arranged for us were very good, and they also offer some unique ceremonies related to the Mayan traditions of the area that we’d love to try next time. Our day trip to Puerto Morelos and a guided tour to Tulum and Coba (arranged by our concierge Paulina) were great, but returning back to Alma Maya made us appreciate it even more. Bring a book, lie in a hammock, and enjoy. It is a special place in the Yucatan!"
