"The property was very clean and well maintained. Staff were amazing and so helpful. Our stay was 6 days and boredom was never an issue. From the pools, to the beach and all the different shows at night, there was always some to peek your interest. The wildlife were fun to watch as well. Beautiful experience!"

"Booked the Waves beach. Was put into the Del Mar resort. Not the biggest deal but I booked the Beach one for a reason. They assured me it's the same. Had same access to both but I paid more to book the nicer one. Was also promised 6 waterpark passes and 2 massages to listen to the 90 minute time share presentation. Got waterpark passes that were restricted to only the slides. No wave pool or lazy river. Kids were disappointed so we didn't use them. Booked 2 massages for the 2 adult women. They went and were denied. Said the passes were not for that. Why allow them to book it and have them come and waste time then. Very misleading pitch to commit 10-30 years and 30-300k of USD and then screw with what was promised. Also 90 minutes? Nope try 3 hours and broken promises. With that all being said we made the best of it. Very good food. Clean pool. Fun beach. Drinks were good. Kids had fun. Just a very disappointing first 2 days with being mislead and put in the resort we didn't want or I'd have booked it. I stopped at consierge 3 times and no attempt was made to fix either of the situations. "

"We just returned yesterday after a one-week stay at the Jungala Hotel and I wanted to give you some tips/thoughts My family of 3 stayed in room 1855 - no stairs and around the corner from the concierge and the coffee (FREE!) No complaints about the room - it’s stunning! Bring a wine stopper, salt and pepper! Cleaning staff and concierge were fantastic Restaurants: make resos ahead through concierge on What’s App Salum - it has a great vibe - very picturesque - plenty of food options you can’t go wrong Gong - Asian inspired - Lobster roll and Pad Thai were incredible - must try! Tramonto - ONLY OPEN Thurs-Sun - Italian - Get the fresh pasta made at the table! Burrata is a must-have Nektar - Beet salad out of this world along with the clay pot for 2 and view of JOYÀ - stunning views and vibe - don’t miss this one! Havana Moon - live band - dancing - played late 80s - food is good not outstanding We didn’t make it to The Grill - steakhouse - heard great things ($$$) Beach: you can’t swim at the beach it’s rocky - bring water shoes if you wish to explore - lots of seaweed/waves Pools: MUST go to the Beach Club - we were Grand Luxxe so we had access. Not everyone has access - Line-up no later than 9:15am to get a cabana - opens at 10am. This by far was our favourite pool hang - we went almost every day. Jungala Hotel got the memo! Highly recommend! "

"From the moment we booked to the time we checked out, the Mamma Loo staff was in constant communication with us. They let me know about prices outside the stay rates beforehand, they helped me arrange a welcome bouquet for my girlfriend, arranged for us to have a grill dinner and took breakfast all the way to our kuchil ( that’s how you say space/home in mayan). Bathroom was clean, dinning area was tidy and the room was nice and comfortable. My girlfriend loved this, she said “ we should do this at least once per month, her energy was restored”. I want to come back and I would recommend you stay, piece of advice: try to disconnect from your phone, there’s lots of fauna to discover. Ps. Colibrí is a very nice dog, you’ll win her heart if you bring a little snack. "

"Wonderful family-run hotel on a lovely Cenote. If you want all-inclusive mass tourism, this is not for you. If you want an authentic Mexican self-catering room or apartment, off the beaten track, this is perfect. "

"The road to the resort was not paved at all (dirt road with tons of potholes, an SUV or bigger vehicle is a must), it was remote, no cell reception (download an offline map), surrounded by jungle. We had fun driving through. The property was nice, peaceful and surrounded by nature. There is no cell reception but there is a wifi. The room that we stayed in was the comfort room. It was clean and comfortable. There was a musty smell at first but we aired the room out and it was fine after. I think the room needs proper ventilation. The whole staff were super friendly, accomodating and welcoming. We had the pleasure to meet Jason (all around guy - concierge, manager, chef), Robert and Papa Oso. They took good care of us. The housekeeper although we didn’t personally meet her, she did a very good job at tidying up our room every day. There menu option was limited but the food was delicious all the time. We even had a bon fire after dinner with marshmallows to eat😁. We’re satisfied overall. Service was great. The resort has a lot of potential for more activity options aside from what they already offer - e.g. ATV tours around the area, cooking class, wildlife watching, stargazing, etc. We will be back! "

"Very nice room and environment. The beds were very hard, but we loved everything else about the room. Breakfast was good and we could order it in advance so they could prepare it and we didnt have to wait. Very good service overall!"
