The hotel was loud, cops were called, people were running all over the hotel, it was dirty, TV didn't work, there was gaps between the door and the floor, the AC unit didn't work. I was scared to death to stay there and left in the middle of the night

We were disheartened by how dirty this property was. Some reviews stated it was in excellent condition while others said it was disgusting.
The hallways looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed for months with stains all over them. It smelled like a mixture of body odor, urine, cat, and stinky dog.
We didn’t feel unsafe but we were definitely cautious and made sure we got back to our room before dark, parked at the front entrance, and walked inside to our room from there.
Our room itself wasn’t too bad and looked recently remodeled. It was a bit dusty, the bed didn’t have a mattress cover, and there were a few dead bugs lying around. No bed bugs or roaches that I saw, for which I was thankful! The sheets were clean too! Yay!
In the morning, I smelled pot drifting through the vents in our bathroom. Gross!
The staff were excellent and extremely friendly. Honestly, if it wasn’t for them, we would’ve demanded a refund and taken our business elsewhere.
All in all a disgusting motel in need of a serious cleaning.

The change in the hotel in the last few months is in believable...Bree has done a awesome job bringing the employees together to make a great team Holly Tori and will work so well together it really is a great place to stay

The room was clean, but the hallways smell of nothing but drugs and when I walked out to my car there were people smoking weed right outside the door. Normally motel 6 is decent, but I would not recommend this one.

I liked the Motel 6 location it was off main road and near Cedar Rapids Airport. The staff was always polite. I didn't like that my tv didn't work properly and was never checked after a few verbal requests to staff. I didn't like the constant load noises swearing and screaming through the night.

The place was dirty, no tv, weird people roaming the halls, seemed to be living there more permanently than just booking rooms. Lady at front desk was pleasant. Good thing it was cheap. Would never go back again.
