Our Stay at JLL Extended Stay Inn

This hotel was shabby in a lot of places but very much okay in the things that mattered to us. We were very comfortable here.

You get what you pay for

I was in town for one night for a concert, so I was looking for a cheap room to sleep in - this place fit the bill. That said, the hotel was more rundown than I expected - torn and faded carpet, exterior signs in need of repainting, etc. The parking lot was awful - lots of large pot holes that really need to be repaired. The room itself was acceptable. It was clean and the bed was comfy. I'm a female traveling by myself and I felt safe there. On the negative side: the shower drained very slow, so I ended up standing in ankle-deep water the whole time. Oh, and the shower head was ridiculously low - I'm only 5'8" and I was taller than the shower head. I actually had to get on my knees in the tub to wash my hair. Ridiculous. I could also hear the neighboring room watching South Park at 2 am when I was trying to go to sleep. I probably wouldn't stay there again, unless they did some upgrades.

Decent place, good room size. Room and bathroom could have been cleaned better.

Priced fairly but.........

Pros: Clean, friendly, fair price. Patio - if the door worked.
Cons: Water flow poor, parking lot in awful shape.
Location: Plenty of retail nearby.
Is old facility but fully acceptable in most ways. No pool or breakfast but expected for a 2 star. Had full cable service but TV was small -- an old 21 inch CRT. Patio door would not open.

Decent Hotel

I was looking for an extended stay that had a kitchenette in the room but decided to book here to save money and to avoid having to make longer trips to get to Allen Hospital. The hotel needs a lot of updating from the rooms to the parking lot and lighting in the parking lot. We were moderately comfortable during our stay and able to save money since we were able to use the refrigerator to store food and the microwave to prepare some meals instead of eating out for every meal.
