Enjoyed all aspects of my week’s stay at this hotel. Food was excellent, room was large and comfortable. Lots of information available on walks in the area. The owner and her two sons, Sebastien and Philippe, were most helpful. I’d be delighted to stay again.

Comfortable place, slightly dated but fine. Only spent one night and was pretty tired. Decent dinner set menu. Value for money was good

Also, there was a problem about the WiFi in the first night, the man even shared his own phone hotspots for me. I was really appreciate what he did. And the problem solved the following day. The old lady is very kind too. When I went to Cauterets next time, I will stay this hotel again.

Stay at Edelweiss!
Posted 29 Aug 2017 on HotelsI would recommend the Edelweiss Hotel to anyone traveling in the Pyrenees. The owner and his mother run the place and were extremely helpful. He speaks fluent English and went out of his way to assist us daily. A very genuine and nice guy. The location to see the best sights is convenient. There were wonderful hikes to dramatic sites in the regions surrounding the hotel. The ONLY downside was the dirty towels we left on the bathroom floor were simply hung back up by the staff, to be reused. Their cleaning staff should know better. But our overall experience was a great one.

Great hotel in the centre of Cauterets
Posted 25 Aug 2017This is a great hotel in the centre of Cauterets, but down a quiet street. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I'll be staying there next time that I go to Cauterets.
