Very nice newly remodeled room with comfortable beds. It was a little hard to find but Sandra was patient and very friendly and helpful once we got to the room. A good location to walk to the oceanfront and a nice walk/bike path there. Nice to have parking but it is a tight squeeze. Only thing I would suggest is some new towels. They were a bit worn and rough. Would stay again.

It is a little difficult to find the place because it is located in buildings that are very unattractive to the eye, and nearby is the Netunno Hotel with which you can easily get lost. The room was clean and with the toiletries in order although not as portrayed in the pictures, our room didn’t have any view and was very dark , the tv just have italian channels which make very complicated if you travel with kids. The hostess really nice she speaks very little english but enough to deliver some instructions. We stayed just for one night even though we pay for 3 . Bring your own towels the ones that they provide are clean but too rough.

Dear guest,we are sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations.As you can see from many previous comments, we always try to provide a great service.In the rare cases in which it is believed that we are not up to par, it would be enough for the Guest to give us the opportunity to resolve any problems during the stay, which you did not do.But we don't believe there were any problems because:1) it's not difficult to find us, but if you go to the hotel of the same name instead of us, it's not our fault.2) we don't have dark rooms. In fact, the sun shines here all day. The room you occupied, as shown in the photo, has a large glass wall and is so bright that we had to install the roller blind plus the blackout curtain! If you don't know how to use them, why didn't you ask us ?3) the TV offers the possibility to choose programs also in English. Just go to the "language settings" buttonI don't speak English very well but I can still make myself understood, but I remind you that you don't speak Italian....4) You stayed only one night but used the room until late afternoon the following day because you left your luggage in the room and took the keys with you.5) The towels will not be very soft but not rough either.It is obvious that with washing they lose some of their softness but they are always given clean and full of fragrance.When traveling with children and you don't have a car, it is better to choose a structure in the historic center rather than, due to your own mistakes, denigrating the commitment and dedication of other people's work.Thank you anyway for being our guests.

Wonderful rooms and host!

This place was fantastic. The rooms are impeccable and very comfortable. Free parking is a bonus. The area is very nice although in the outskirts of Catania. Beautiful ocean view. But the best part is Sandra, the host. She is so nice and welcoming you want to stay there forever. We will certainly stay there when in Catania! I already miss Sandra!!

Surprise (in a negative sense)

Sicily will surprise you by its falling infrastructure, poverty, and poor maintenance. The owner was very kind and helpful. Everything else is negative. The building is something you’d see in a war zone. The building was the most horrible condition I’ve ever seen as accommodation. The room is clean and recently renovated..I think. You can’t go out unless your partner escorts you out and unlock doors and gate due to 6~7 different keys they give to you. It was one of the most inconvenient and inefficient lodging experiences I’ve ever had. There’s nothing much to do around the B&B. The owner recommended a great seafood restaurant, which we loved and ate there every dinner. Also, they only accept cash and want you to pay the entire amount in full in Euro. So, if you don’t have a large amount of Euro, then you are screwed. The description on Hotels.com states, “The property accepts cash”. It should’ve been stated, “The property accepts ONLY cash and demands full lodging payment at check-in”. I’m going to file a complaint with Hotels.com for inaccurate information, which caused a huge inconvenience as I have to scramble to get cash to pay for the lodging. Wasted a lot of time.

Dear guest, going step by step: 1) Before offending my wonderful Earth, you should think about your homeland and meditate. And quite a lot .... 2) The building provides for the external renovation (the interior of it has already been renovated) because the sea that you saw every morning from your room has accelerated its age but the room assigned to you is like new (and without "I think ") because we put all possible care to ensure that the structure is impeccable. 3) You only had 3 keys (automatic gate, front door and bedroom door). Maybe you also counted the keys to your house ... You then explain to me why you must be escorted to unlock doors and gates. Absurd!!! 4) Is there not much to do around the B&B? If you can't organize yourself, it's not my fault. There is a wonderful sea in front of you and the historic center is just a few minutes away by car. 5) What complaint do you want to make to Hotels.com if it is only you who do not understand that we do not have the pos? Maybe you read the types of cards accepted for payment? We should learn to operate the brain before writing groundless things!!!! Besides, what time did you waste if you paid shortly after check-in without leaving the room since you had the money with you? Rather you should thank Hotels.com. With only € 30 per person you had a deluxe room facing the sea and with € 3.50 a breakfast that I would define more than a lunch. You had a huge platter of cheeses and various hams every day, cappuccinos, croissants, toast, yoghurt, fruit juices and 4 coffees every morning. But don't talk about this ..... On the contrary, you laughed, sure you made the deal! 6). You write that with the exception of the owner (who has had too much patience) everything else is negative. In this whole negative thing it was just having you as a guest. For the pitiful conditions in which we found the room and for all the lies written, believe me, guests like you are not welcome. Nowhere!!!!

Great B&B in Catania

I don't have anything negative to say about my stay at this B&B. Welcoming owners, great room, fantastic view, reserved parking spaces, Wi-Fi worked well ... There was a small problem but it was quickly resolved by the owner in a more than acceptable way. Two thumbs up !! The very minor disappointment was the sat. TV --- all I could find were Italian channels. I only tried to find channels in other languages one evening. Maybe my inability to find other than Italian language channels was due to the bad weather over Catania that evening.

Wonderful place to stay. Bed was comfortable and Sandra and staff were very friendly and had homemade croissants every morning, just wonderful. Secure facility and good location.
