This hotel needs a total overhaul. The carpets are soiled and the bedspread was stained. This property is not in a good location. It is on the wrong side of the park and parking is very far away. There was no one there to greet us - we checked out and moved to another location.

City Hall was a very nice B&B during our 2 nights in Catania. Damiano provided us with sumptuous breakfasts with meat, cheese, cereal, fresh fruit and magnificent pastries. He also helped smooth over a reservation error I had made and printed out some reservations that we needed for the next step in our journey. We are grateful for his help.
The property is in a nice part of Catania, with wider streets than some of the older parts of town. It is across the street from a large urban park. There is a grocery store in the same block, and you will get a good tour of Catania coming and going from the town square.
Our room was large and well[-appointed. CNN would have been nice on the television
The room rate was reasonable.

Liked: location; room; bathroom; quiet; sound proof.
Disliked: Damiano spoke no English; mattress’s very hard and old. Breakfast adequate .No eggs. NO HEAT NIGHT ON ARRIVAL APRIL 22. Very cold night 7 Celsius. Could no not sleep even either extra blankets. Damiano not available after 3 pm. INCORRECT PHONE NUMBER GIVEN. Simply froze that night

The hotel was clean and comfortable.Situated in a safe,quiet area but within walking distance of the town centre. Friendly, helpful staff in reception/dining area .

Room is different than you can see on the picture, very uncomfortable lay-out, dirty and smelly corridor. The host was nice and helpful though.
