Staff not friendly. Location not convenient. Poor service. Less and very old amenities.

Wonderful staff. The owners are very nice. They helped me with a problem I had with my expedia booking. They arranged a cab driver for my outings. The cab driver was so friendly and patient, felt like family. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent room and very nice breakfast. Entrance is down an alley that looks a little shady.

Probably the nicest hostel I've stayed in for years. The breakfast was genuinely fantastic. Definitely the best I've ever had at a hostel and I would have been more than satisfied with it even if it were at an expensive hotel. The dorms are nice and quiet/private too. The only bad thing is the location (there's nothing really around the hostel), but there's a tram line into the more interesting parts of the city just a few minutes away. Everything was lovely and clean too.
I will also say that the automatic light outside the dormitory is annoying at night too. Perhaps the window above the doorway could be painted to stop the light coming in every time somebody walks past?
p.s. if you don't like cats, you probably shouldn't stay here, but if you do like cats, it's the place for you!
