Posted 30 Jan 2024 on HotelsThis hotel is a gem. Friendly staff and good beer and food. I like this type of establishment as you are not a credit card walking through the door. Very close to the railway as the name indicates but it did not disturb me.

Posted 6 Jan 2024 on HotelsNice Hotel close to rail links and for village centre shopping. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was nice but toilet/shower room really small. Bedroom door squeaked until a little WD40 applied to hinges. Cooked breakfast was very good but only a small choice of cereals, fruit etc. Strange that the residents bar closed around 9:30pm. If you wanted a drink after that you had to use the public bar attached to the property.
