Tradewinds is a lovely dog-friendly hotel within perfect walking distance to busy, downtown Carmel. The staff are so kind, the facility is updated, with nicely appointed decor, clean, well-laid out rooms, and a delicious breakfast delivered by request! This is definitely a gem and we'll be back without a doubt, thank you!

Very pretty outside area with tables, fire pit and water features. Great breakfast served in basket outside door. I liked that the Tradewinds was not a “cookie cutter” hotel.

This property claims to have soul, but it does not. My mother passed away three days before check in and they still charged me for my stay. Pitiful. I even offered to provide the death certificate
