Very nice property, indoor pool open until midnight, buffet breakfast My room faced the highway so traffic all night. I'll know next time to get the other side

I needed a location close to Dickenson, as my daughter was participating in a summer program. This has easy access to the highway, and is very close to the college.

Needs support rails for tub in bathroom.
About a month or two I made the reservation with Expedia and was charged about $179. At checkout the desk person at the motel gave me a receipt for $134.
Can you explain?

The bedroom, bathroom, hallway and pool area were dirty.

Check in clerk was excellent! She handled I sucker situation great! We arrived at 7pm to find our room wasn’t ready yet….BUT…she explained that the staff had a funeral that day. Then offered to make sure it was done in a half hour.. as we were mulling over our options she offered us an upgrade to a room that was ready for no extra charge. Exceptional handling of the matter.. she never gave us a chance to be upset! Great customer service!

Loved the free charging for our EV and breakfast. Did not like the defective bathtub drain plunger. Staff was great🤔
