"My family and I stayed at RIU Palace Paradise Island for 6 days while celebrating my mother's 60th birthday, and overall we had a wonderful experience. Check-in was quick and seamless. One thing to note is that if you book through a third-party website rather than directly with the hotel, airport shuttle service is not included. Before arriving, I had read several reviews criticizing the condition of the rooms, so I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. There were signs of normal wear and tear that could use some attention, but nothing that negatively impacted our stay. One minor inconvenience was the air conditioning. We could only turn it on or off rather than adjust the temperature, which made the room either too warm or too cold at night. On our first night, there were no comforters or blankets in the room, but after housekeeping serviced the room, we were provided with blankets for the remainder of our stay and had no further issues. Another small drawback was that the bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, so it became very steamy after showering. The food was generally good, although many dishes tended to be oversalted. During our stay, we dined at Bahamas Steak House, Tengoku, and Krystal. Krystal was by far our favorite restaurant. While the host was somewhat curt when we arrived for our reservation, the experience quickly improved. Our servers were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort

"I loved my time in Aruba. The location was perfect, right by shops and the pier, wasn’t too far out from other destinations. My room was as pictured. The staff were amazing, very friendly and super helpful. The pool area was so pretty, especially at night time once lit up. I love that they offer boat rides to flamingo island, I got a private cabana for a day and it was amazing! My only complaint was very minor, I got a smoke-free room but it still smelled of smoke. Luckily I spent majority of my time not in my room so it didn’t bother me too much."
