Keep away. These people are not honest. They intentionally charged us twice for the same room, claiming that no payment had been made through Expedia. I had to fix the charges through my credit card company. This was a nightmare. Find another place.

Cathy at the reception area was FANTASTIC!! Great deatails( in broken English).. WONDERFUL dinner suggestion. It's not the ritz but it certainly serves its purpose

Very friendly receprion staff. Rooms are small, bathroom basic and walls thin. No ammenities. Priced high for what it is.

Good hotel option in Cariari. Nothing fancy, but clean and adequate. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Posted 30 Mar 2018 on HotelsThe listing should state explicitly that there is no A/C, and the WiFi was really weak in the room, so I had to go to the office to get the rest of my trip booked. But the staff did give me a map to Tortuguero and explained how to get there. The room was pretty clean, but the mattress was difficult to sleep on for me. 6.1/10. For the money, I can usually find a better hostel, but the location is very helpful.

Location: everything is close and the prices of things reasonable since everything needs to be brought in by boat.
I had a nice peaceful stay. tortuguero is a very special place. a bit warm and humid, but what does one expect in a rain forest. a very clean place to stay.
