Great Victorian Hotel

Great family run hotel with excellent service. Modern comfortable rooms maintained to a high standard. Signature Victorian bar/dining area with decorative terracotta tiles.

Great place

Under new management, absolutely brilliant experience. The owners are friendly and very nice. The place is clean and looks great. On site parking with the gate locked in the night time. I strongly recommend this place is you are in Newport.

Nice old fashioned Hotel with lots of character, not like a soulless modern chain. Lovely friendly staff.

One of the windows would not shut close...about 2"s and there was a constant banging of doors from 9 pm until gone 11pm

If you can overlook the location, this would be a nice place. Rooms have been refurbished. Two things to avoid - the car park (entrance is so narrow and very difficult to get to), the lift - (more like Arkwright's till, I swear it sniggered when I tried to get both doors open and juggle bags).
